3 Punk girls, King's Rd, early 80s ST#16

This photo of mine was blown up huge and put on virtually every tube station in London to advertise the V&A Streetstyle exhibition in 1994. Seeing it I remember thinking what a shame that I didn't know how to contact the 3 women - and thinking what a shock it must have been to see themselves suddenly the most omnipresent image in London. Fortunately, unbeknownst to me, at the exhibition launch one of the girls showed up; when asked if she had an invite pointed to the poster and said 'That's me so let me in and I'll have a copy of the poster too'. Full marks to the V&A staff for bowing to her wishes. Where are you now ladies?
