Johnson's, Kenninsgton Market, London, 1981 ST#94a

Billy Duffy (who would go on to be lead guitarist with Cult) working in Johnson's shop in Ken Market, London - there was another World's End on the King's Road; both hugely influential), 1981. Starting in 1967, Johnson's (originally Cockell and Johnson's) was the jewel in the crown of Ken Market right up until when it closed. Between the two shops Lloyd Johnson and his team dressed everyone from Ray Davis to Keith Richards - indeed, hard to think of a stylistically interesting male rock musician they didn't dress.
