Punk Girl with red Mohican, King's Road, London, early 80s

Is her name Liz? That's what's in my mind. She always seemed to do a roaring trade with tourists giving her money for a chance to photograph her. By the way, tourists (or myself for that matter) who might try to sneak a photo without a quid or two passing hands might have the fright of their lives when they suddenly found themselves surrounded by a horde of irate Punks - then they paid up. Anyway, in my experience you can only take a descent photo when up front and personal with a would-be subject.
