Another good example of the blurring and juxtaposition of subcultures and styles which started with the Punks (never as stereotypical as the cartoonists would have us believe) and has become the norm (at least in London - places like Mexico City or Buenos Aires apparently still have distinct 'tribes'). Punk? New Romantic? Not really. Certainly not a Goth (but note how in 2015 at least in the USA we see people calling themselves 'Pastel Goths' - crikey)
